Children's Sunday School

It is a pleasure to share Sunday mornings with the children who come to Providence United Methodist Church. Our Sunday school focuses on familiarizing the children with the wonderful stories from the Bible that you may have learned when you were a child. The Sunday school hour begins with an opening filled with songs, smiles, prayer and occasional puppet performances. Following the opening, the children move to the classrooms.

We have a nursery for children under the age of four. Jeannie Mullinix provides a lesson for these toddlers and helps them develop a wonderful perception of Sunday school and how much fun it is. Ashley Boteler helps “Miss Jeannie” provide this wonderful experience for the children.

The older children (aged four to twelve) have a lesson and craft time. Cindee Sadtler and her daughters, Angie Dodson, Kelly More, and Amanda Stick, work as a team to provide a time of learning, art and fun for the children.

All of the adults involved in the Sunday school program agree that it is a true blessing for them to have the opportunity to work with the children.
